Philip Owoju Abayomi’s Biography

Philip started out as a real estate marketer at Adron Homes and Property Limited. He was in his year 2, studying Business Administration at the University Of Lagos, when he realized the need to pay for his school fees. Knowing that he did not have adequate financial support, he went on to submit his CVs in every company he could find.
He kept on getting rejections, but he knew it was not him, but because he was reaching out to companies in a wrong way. He kept working from streets to streets, just to see if he may be lucky enough to get a company to call him in, alas, he found one, Adron Homes and Property Limited, with the help of a helpful woman, Toyin, she was the then Branch Manager of Adron’s Surulere Branch, 2015. She asked him why he was walking around and looking down, then he explained to her his purpose, she took him in, told him to submit his CV, and that was the beginning of his journey in Marketing.
He worked with Adron Homes and Properties for 6 years, and generated a total inflow of N20,000,000 from 5 clients, who paid outrightly. Then he could pay his school fees and build his career in modeling. He was one of the contestants of Elite Model Look, 2014, which was led by Elizabeth Elohor, the Founder of Beth Model Management Africa. He was trained by his sister, Kemi Blessing Owoju, who is the now founder of Kem Kem Skincare and Beauty and also Dare Your Dream.
In 2019 he graduated from The University Of Lagos State, I secured employment as a Community and Project Manager at The Assembly Hub, where he grew my skills in Social Media Management, Research & Development (R & D) and Business Management.
Shortly after this, he evolved as a Content Creator by learning high-end design software tools such as; Adobe Photoshop & Adobe After Effects for static and motion graphics, Adobe Premiere pro for professional video edits and website management.
Holding on to these skills, I branched out to work with a good number of SMEs from diverse industries and well established businesses, thereby providing outstanding virtual business services within and across Nigeria,
My goal is to build an establishment where teenagers and youths get optimal access to the right information, behavioral traits and to help discover their entrepreneurial strength just before getting into college.
He is a freelance videographer , founded MILLENIAL MEDIA. A student of Yaba College of Technology who has gathered 5 years experience in videography. His core areas of expertise are videography and video editing using editing apps like Adobe premiere pro, Cap cut, Davinci resolve and After Effect . Outside work I’m a crypto maniac. He loves reading, watching football and playing football.
He looks into your brand and identifies the best video content to push out for more publicity and revenue.
Ovo Ogufere, CEO and Founder of XA Internationals- Legal Adviser at Blurp Space
Ovo Ogufere is the CEO of Xa! International which happens to be the mother company of one Africa’s leading fashion production firm and model agencies, Xa! Models. He is also the Founder & Editor-in-Chief of Model of Africa.
He is a pioneer advisory Board member for Ckrowd Africa, the continent’s leading digital platform for content creators. He currently serves as the Vice President of Professional Model Managers Association of Nigeria (PROMMAN). He is a Partner for Mens Fashion Week Nigeria. Ovo who got called to the Bar at the Nigerian Law School in 1995 is an entertainment lawyer and Principal Solicitor at Ovo & Co.
The seasoned Show Producer also produces some of Africa’s leading fashion events such as Music Fashion Runway for NMO management, Runway Trybe for Afro UK, The African Prints fashion show to name a few. He also produced the fashion show which was put together by MFR for HE the Deputy British High Commissioner and Field of Skills and Dreams graduation fashion show.
He is also the brain behind Nigeria’s first ever fashion drama “The First Lady” and is the organizer of Lagos Accessories Fashion Week (formerly Lagos Accessories Fair). Ovo who is passionate about nurturing African talents is one of the continent’s key resource persons. He has served in the capacity of a consultant and facilitator in Nigeria, Benin Republic, Togo, Ghana, Côte D’ivoire, South Africa and Cameroon. He was one of the facilitators for Design Fashion Africa’s masterclass which was produced by Spice TV, also invited twice as facilitator for Accra Fashion Week, and as consultant and producer for FIAFA (Cameroon), African Lifestyle Show (Togo) and African Lifestyle Show (Cote D’ivoire) respectively.
He was appointed as the a fashion consultant for West Africa and the northern African regions for South Africa’s leading fashion reality show, Made in Africa. As a fashion consultant he was involved in the selection of key fashion designers for the African Fashion Week Amsterdam and Malik Afegbua’s history-making Seniors Fashion Show. He’s the organizer of the UK Fashion Project, which was a celebration of some of Africa’s best designers which continues to enjoy excellent reviews. He is appointed to produce The African Prints Fashion Show in Australia. He is a co founder of Eko Fashion Connect.
He has functioned as judge in Mr Universe Nigeria, Miss Tourism Nigeria, Miss Campus Nigeria, Ayko Talent & Modeling Competition, Face of Accra Fashion Week and RA International Model Contest. And as Casting Director in African Fashion Week Nigeria, Project Next Model Africa, Nigeria’s Next Super Model, Best Model Nigeria etc. He is a recipient of the ECOWAS Lifetime Achievement Award for his contributions towards the development of the fashion industry in West Africa. He is the Author of the Modeling Terms: A – Z which was a hit across West Africa.
